Venice - Day 2

Day 2 – Focus, Frame, Click... Students Explore the Art of Photography, Design and Videography 

Yesterday evening we dined at the eatery inside Vela Blue Village, enjoying a generous spread of Italian favourites. Our table was filled with a variety of pizzas, fresh salad, crispy fries, and several pasta dishes. To finish, some of us indulged in ice cream and cake, making it a relaxed and satisfying end to the day. 

Venice - Day 1 - Evening

With full plates and bowls, and full energy, we kicked off the day with a buffet-style breakfast at our lodges before travelling to H‑Farm School for the master workshops by Brendan, Martin and Daniel. 

Venice - Day 2 - Breakfast & Journey

Once at the school, students from New Bridge College and H‑Farm took part in both theoretical and practical workshops exploring the principles of designing and creating a travel vlog. The mixed groups collaborated brilliantly, producing some impressive and creative work. After a productive morning, we enjoyed lunch and some sunshine at H‑Farm’s cafeteria and campus grounds. 

Venice - Day 2 - Morning Workshop

After lunch, students returned to their workshops, this time focusing on the fundamentals of audio and graphic design for travel themed promotional films. Once again, the groups worked exceptionally well, demonstrating creativity, teamwork, and strong technical skills. By the end of the afternoon, they had produced some truly impressive pieces of work. Well done all. 

Venice - Day 2 - Afternoon Workshop

When we returned to Vela Blue Village after our busy day at the school, it was finally time to unwind before our evening meal at a local pizzeria restaurant. Students relaxed by the pool, soaking up the late‑afternoon sun, while others headed to the beach to enjoy the sea breeze and the calm shoreline. It was the perfect way to recharge before dinner.
