Pathways Blog 3.7.26

It has been another busy and exciting time at New Bridge Pathways!

Year 9 students have been visiting as part of their transition, giving them the opportunity to meet staff, explore Pathways and begin preparing for the next stage of their education. We are looking forward to welcoming them fully in September.

Meanwhile, some of our Year 11 students have been taking part in transition visits to New Bridge College, helping them prepare for the next chapter of their educational journey.

A special mention must go to Lumenus, who performed at Dance Explosion at The Lowry, Salford. I was fortunate enough to watch the rehearsal and all I can say is wow! The performance was amazing. The hard work, commitment and talent on display were incredible.  Well done to everyone involved.

A reminder to Year 11 students and their families that our Year 11 Celebration Assembly will take place at The Loom on Tuesday 15th July at 10:30am. We look forward to coming together to celebrate this wonderful year group.

Finally, don't forget that Year 11 Prom will be held next Friday 10th July at Chadderton Town Hall. Doors open at 6:30pm, so get ready to dress to impress and enjoy a memorable evening celebrating the end of your school journey with friends and staff.

Let’s go fly a kite.

CL1, CL3 and CL5 spent a lovely morning in Alexander Park as part of our leisure topic in Community Pathways. The weather was glorious, blue skies, warm sunshine and just enough breeze to send our kites up in the air.

Students had decorated their kites with bright colours and creative designs. Some took to the open field and flew their kites high. Others chose to relax in the shade, chatting with classmates and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

Afterwards, we headed to the playground, where the swings, roundabouts and climbing frames added even more fun to the day.
