Pathways Blog - 26.6.26

Over the past few very warm days, our pupils have demonstrated truly impressive resilience and determination. Despite the challenging temperatures, they have continued to engage in their learning with positivity, focus, and enthusiasm.

Classrooms at New Bridge Pathways have remained calm and purposeful, with pupils adapting brilliantly to changes in routines which have been designed to keep everyone safe and comfortable. From staying hydrated to supporting one another, their maturity and cooperation has been outstanding.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all our pupils for their fantastic attitude and effort. You have coped amazingly and I am incredibly proud of you.

A special thank you also goes to our staff, who have worked tirelessly to ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone during the heat. Your dedication and care has not gone unnoticed.

Keep safe everyone and have a wonderful weekend,

Miss McMurray 😊

CL2 PE

This week in PE CL2 went to Hopwood Hall to see the Gruffalo trail. The students are making the most of this glorious weather. They tried their hand at stone skimming the water and went for a trek through the stunning woods.

CL5

Last week CL5 enjoyed a wonderful week in school as they independently designed, decorated, and built their very own kites. The classroom was full of creativity, focus, and excitement as everyone worked hard to bring their ideas to life.

Once the kites were finished, we headed to Alexandra Park to test them out. Everyone loved running across the field, watching their kites lift in the air.

We rounded off the trip with a relaxing stop at the cafe, giving everyone a chance to chat and relax. A brilliant week full of independence, teamwork, and fun.

Digi Skills

This week in Digi Skills, we have been looking at creating repeated patterns and backgrounds on Purple Mash. The students gave it their best shot and showed incredible focus whilst using the line, magnet and symmetry tools. They have also shown good problem-solving skills, by working independently to solve issues with their patterns before asking for support.

Keep up the good work!
