And in the blink of an eye – Spring 2 is over, and we are about to embark on the Summer.
It’s been an amazing term with so much happening – sports events, arts, exciting opportunities and outstanding teaching and learning – not to mention the visit from OFSTED.
Today I was really fortunate to meet with 2 extra ordinary sets of people.
We met as a staff team first thing this morning and celebrated some of our successes over the past term.
I heard something brilliant on Monday that I want to share with you...
It takes special people to take care of special children.
So true.
A massive thank you goes to you all. Have a great break and rest.
My second big event of the day was meeting with School Council over a working breakfast. It was my opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to our young people who advocate for our learners and tell me and the staff – what they think about school and what they what to do in the last part of the school year.
This is one of the best things I have done this year, and my calendar is set for the next term when we will talk about the school environment, their chosen charity, plus the work we have begun on the 3B’s. So much to look forward to.

Our school doesn’t completely shut down over the Easter break as we continue our holiday club offer. Thanks to Mrs Bingley and the team. Can’t wait to see the posts from the team.
So that’s all from me and the New Bridge team.
From our family to yours – we wish you all a Happy Easter and a holiday break.
Take care, stay safe
