Mrs T's Blog (20.3.26)
What an amazing day we’ve had today at Roman Road for Super Learning Day.
I wish you all a blessed Eid Mubarak to our students and families that are celebrating over the next few days. I'm sure our students will bounce back into school on Monday with some amazing memories of a wonderful family time.
In addition to Eid, we have celebrated St Patrick's Day. This is a celebration of the heritage and culture of the people of Ireland. Mr Thompson and the team hosted a brilliant event where our children were able to dance and move to songs and generally express themselves to music and rhyme.
Finally, it’s also Comic Relief and there has been a 'sea’ of red throughout the school. We've had cake sales, sponge throwing (I missed that one - thank goodness) and due to the amazing spring weather - a brilliant fun outdoor event for all the children to participate in (plus a bit of football thrown in...)
Red Nose Day 2026
Next week - when spring arrives in our calendars, we actually finish the spring term.
Next week we also celebrate the achievements of our term - in our governors meeting (more about that next week), not to mention all the fun events building to the Easter break .
That's it from me.
Hope you have a lovely weekend and the sun stays out.
Stay safe
Mrs T x
