Welcome back everyone.

I had the opportunity to meet and greet some of the young people back to school and a young man said to me "Mrs Tootill, how can it be the summer term when spring has just begun!!!!’’ , which is a great point.

This term is going to be ‘jam packed' with events.

We have lots of things to look forward to - including residentials, celebration events and transition.

Moving on is always a time for some students of change and with it can come some fear and trepidation as to what is to come. We want to ensure that our young people feel happy, safe and involved in the next part of their journey. So, in-order to to do this - the summer term will be filled with lots of opportunities to see what’s happening next, meet new staff and experience new buildings, classrooms and schools.

We want our families and carers to be part of this journey, so we have begun to invite families into school, receive information booklets, and have the opportunity to talk to staff.  

It going to be a busy, busy term...

That’s it for me this week. We've had a brilliant first week and I feel confident that this will continue for the rest of the academic year (I can't believe that's only 3 months away...)
