Learning Centre Update - EBLTL

During our Maths and English lessons, we have been taking part in the classroom shop/café. For our café, the students take turns to pick what they would like from the menu such as toast and biscuits and will visit our ‘shopkeeper’ in order to pay for the food they would like! We even sign along when asking for things within our café.

Our shopping lessons in class are helping us to prepare before we go to a real shop and buy things! Everyone has a unique shopping list with items such as pizza, butter, milk and other daily items. The students will then find the items on our shop shelving and bring them over to our cashier who will ask them to pay for the products that they have selected.

As we are entering summer season, we have been decorating the garden to make it brighter and more fun! We have started to paint the trees in our garden with vibrant colours and patterns that the students designed themselves. We have also painted some spare tyres in a variety of colours and have managed to place them around a tree to further make the garden ready for summer. All we need now is some bunting around the trees!
