Learning Centre Blog (27.3.26)

This week I had the absolute pleasure of spending a few days at the Calvert Residential, I’ve been sharing pictures throughout the week of our adventures. The students were truly amazing and tried everything, even the scary zip wire! Here are just a few pictures of the many!

Well done to each one of our amazing students who embraced every activity and clearly loved every minute, I’m inspired by them every day! Thanks to our families for putting your trust in the staff to look after students as we would our own. And thanks to the amazing staff team who worked tirelessly to ensure students were safe, nurtured and enabled to take part in every activity. Well done, Mr Fennelly for organising an amazing trip which will live in the memories of our students. I Know there will be lots more pictures shared so watch this space.

I’d also like to thank the team holding the fort back at the Learning Centre which is not easy with so many staff off site. Please check out Mrs Brierley’s blog to catch up on what they have been doing including, getting creative making Mother’s day cards, fundraising for comic relief, using the sketchbook app on iPads, cooking Welsh rarebit (why did I not get a taste guys?). As Mrs Brierley put it “It’s been a brilliant term full of creativity, learning, and laughter — and we’re already excited for what’s coming next!”
