Learning Centre Blog - 15.11.24
This week, the Learning Centre staff and students joined with schools and colleges across the UK in marking Remembrance Day & observing a 2 minutes silence.
Classes have been busy over the last few of weeks completing poppy displays and creating individual poppies which have created a large display of cascading poppies in the main hall.

Many Thanks to Miss Kindon and the Nurture Group students for pulling everything together and to Kia for reading the following poem.
On Friday the Learning Centre was awash with all things ‘Pudsey’. Students and staff joined in the fun.
In the morning, the Nurture group and Employability students helped run the café, I didn’t mind the delivery charge as it was yummy!
Thanks to Miss Millward for sharing all the news about what her group have been doing over the last few weeks.
Loved the last paragraph...
“I think the whole class can say that we have had a fantastic term with all students participating in making this term an amazing one so far, we all can’t wait to share with you what we have been doing next time!”
Well done, everyone.
We look forward to welcoming families to our Parents evening on Tuesday and being able to celebrate the hard work of our amazing students.
Here’s to another great week.
