Happy New Year

Firstly, I would like to wish you all a very happy new year!

Despite the Arctic weather and conditions under both foot and wheel, it seems to me that it has been a remarkably productive and fantastic week back at New Bridge College. The conditions have challenged us all in different ways. However, as always, we have risen to the challenge!

Today, we ended our first week back on a high with lots of positive engagement, some snow, fun and smiles during ‘Enrichment’...

Lumenus – Learning for Life

Before the Winter break, Lumenus Group 2 took part in an enriching real-world learning project, strengthening essential life skills such as research, planning, budgeting, and teamwork.

During their ‘Learning for Life’ session, they prepared lunch for their group, members of Lumenus Group 1 and staff.

In preparation, they explored sandwich options, conducted surveys, compared supermarket prices, gathered orders, and created detailed shopping lists.
