Children in Need Blog
Today we celebrated Children in Need Day. Our school was a sea of yellow – with even a few Pudsey bear ears thrown in. I love days like today – as it’s a reminder as to how fortunate we are to be part of our children’s lives.
Our photos posted on the socials today are awash with activities, biscuit and cake making, lots of beautiful artwork and lots of fun. There’s also been a lot of learning going on.
This week we contoured our theme of remembrance and again it was amazing to see how our students looked back to heroes that have been lost in periods of war.
I've had a lot of visitors this week – children popping in and out telling me about their day, problems with their ipad (I’m NOT the person to ask for that advice...), what they had for tea (or lunch) or that at times – how they feel when they fall out with their friends.
And I’ve even been asked when we are putting up the tree – the answer to that is definitely not yet!
For next week, there has been a snow warning (I think it’s a bit early for snow).
School will be open unless we receive further instruction from the local authorities and transport.
For families that are new to us, we will contact you via our normal communication channels, plus our social media links or through class communication platform of Showbie or Seesaw.
But’s let hope it doesn’t appear until December!!!
It’s a short blog from me this week. I think the pictures of our students mean much more than words...

A quick reminder that our Parents Evening will be taking place on the week after next. Please let us know if you encounter any difficulties with booking time.
That’s it for me.
Have a great weekend
