Pathways Blog - 12.9.25

As we wrap up the first full week of the autumn term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what a brilliant start it's been. It has been wonderful to see our pupils settling back into routines so quickly, embracing new challenges, reconnecting with friends and welcoming new ones.  Pupils have already been showing great pride in their learning and there is a real sense of community in every part of the school.

This week our teaching staff and teaching assistant came together for a dynamic training session focused on: Pupil engagement and enjoyment within the classroom.  This session was a fantastic opportunity to reflect, share and explore fresh ideas to ensure that our lessons at New Bridge Pathways are passionate, purposeful and all pupils have a joyful learning experience. We are excited to see these ideas filter into the classrooms over the coming weeks – I am confident that our pupils will feel the impact.

Here’s to the exciting weeks ahead, and a term that is already off to a flying start.  I hope you all have a lovely weekend and fingers crossed the rain stays away!

Pupils have completed their first assessments with focus and determination, showing great effort and resilience. It has also been wonderful to see new friendships forming, with everyone working together to create a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. The class are already showing that they are ready to work hard, try their best, and make the most of the year ahead.

Lumenus KS4 Blog

We are pleased to share that Lumens KS4 students have had a strong and positive start to the new school year. They’ve settled quickly into routines, showing enthusiasm, focus, and a willingness to support one another in their learning.

Over the past week, most subjects have completed their first assessment week, and we’re really proud of how well our students approached this challenge. Their hard work and determination are already shining through.

We’ve also been treated to some fantastic performances in drama, dance, and singing with students showcasing  both their creativity and confidence.

It’s been a wonderful beginning to the year and we’re looking forward to building on this momentum as the term continues.
