Visit from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC)

We were delighted to welcome representatives from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) into school for a special session with a group of our pupils. The children took part in an engaging discussion about age ratings across various film genres, including action, horror, comedy, and animation.

During the session, pupils were shown different film clips and asked to consider whether the age ratings were appropriate. They responded with enthusiasm and gave thoughtful, well-reasoned answers—explaining why certain clips should retain their current rating and suggesting why one might need to be reviewed.

It was fantastic to see how involved the pupils were, demonstrating critical thinking and a strong understanding of media content and its impact. We’d like to thank the BBFC for providing such a valuable and insightful experience.

Year 11 Graduates

The Year 11 Leavers Assembly was a truly special moment, filled with laughter, memories, and a few tears as we looked back on the year 11’s journey through school. It was a time to celebrate everything the young people have accomplished and the people they have become. As they now move forward into their next exciting chapter of their lives, we want to wish all leavers all the very best.

Whether they are heading to New Bridge Learning Centre, New Bridge College or another post 16 provision, we hope all pupils carry the determination, kindness, and strength they have shown throughout their time at New Bridge Pathways.

Good luck to each year 11 leaver — you have so much to offer the world, and we can't wait to see where life takes you next.
