This week in Maths, Com Liv Gen have been working super hard to complete work towards their qualifications.  

Demi-Lee and Tamara have blown everyone away with their determination and counting skills!  

Maisha. Christine and Zarif have been learning how to solve short division. They all showed an excellent understanding of their times tables and through sheer perseverance were able to complete the calculations independently.

Digi 2

This week in Digi 2 we have been presenting our PowerPoint Presentations on a famous person. Each student had to design their own presentation including images, a video, transitions and animations. This is part of their digital qualification. The students each then received peer feedback both positive and areas of improvement. I am so proud of the students’ hard work and I am thrilled that one of our coursework modules is now complete.  

We also had a tour of New Bridge College on Thursday Afternoon- the students were excited to know that they are allowed mobile phones during unstructured times. We had conversations with tutors and enjoyed seeing old Pathways students once again. Some of the students now feel confident about transitioning to New Bridge College and know which pathway they would like to join. 

And lastly, today was our turn to distribute hot drinks and biscuits to staff. Ibby won the award for best brew maker- remembering to squeeze the tea bag and not just dip it in! Kyle did amazing at making hot chocolate and was thrilled that he could also have his own at the end! Well done Digi 2, a cram-packed week!
