Mrs T's Blog (12.9.25)
We have completed our first full week and it has been a brilliant 5 days.
Our classes are beginning to settle, and students have been moving into new classes around the school. The year 7 students are beginning to make new friends, move independently around the school and we are seeing them blossom and grow.
This week, I’ve had the pleasure of spending some time at our Pathways building and was re-united with our year 10 students (formerly year 9 here at Roman Road).
Even in the short period of the summer holidays, they seem to have all grown up and matured into amazing young people – who look like they have been at Pathways for longer than 7 days!!
I was particularly impressed with Lumenus and Activ8 who looked amazing in their kit and were working really well in the lessons (despite football being cancelled due to the rain...)
The format of our blogs have changed and we are rotating round different parts of the school (which is not easy in a school of this size...)
This week it is brilliant to see blogs from our Interactive Base (BIG welcome this week from IB6), Autism base (Learning journeys ABCBY), Key Stage 4 (great PE blog), main body (great Living Skill blog 9JSW, 8JRN - loving the frogs, 7DBN forming relationships and 8DPD (cooking hazards...)
Not to mention our blogs from our admin team sharing information on our uniform swap shop and free school meals.
In addition, we've had some brilliant blogs from our school nursing team and other services.
You can find them all here:
Facebook
That's it from me this week.
Have a great weekend
Stay safe
