Apologies for having to hold off on last weeks blog until today...
Yesterday, myself and Mr Barker had the pleasure (and pressure) of judging our annual Red Nose day display inter-group competition!
To say the atmosphere was tense would be an understatement, the level of competitiveness would rival any derby game!
There were 17 entries in all, and I have to say class teams really pulled out the stops this time.
We had to come up with a fair formula for scoring, teams could get up to 10 points for:
1. student Involvement
2. Creativity
3. Humour
I’m delighted to announce that the winner, with 26 points, was Mrs Curran's group.
Joint runners up with 24 points are:
Miss Millward's Class
Miss Hickin's Class
Ms Brierley's Class
Here are some more wonderful entries:
Miss Kindon’s Class
Mrs Keane's Class
Mrs McDonald
Mrs Macnamara
Mrs Bagum
Mrs Rowe
A special mention goes to the interactive sheep!
Thanks also to the Personal Care team for joining in the fun.
Students also took part in ‘We’re going on a nose hunt’, well done IB on your win! The Nurture group also ran our Red Nose Day café which raised £144.
Well done to all. Great effort and involvement!
