Girls Group

This week the students have completed the Christmas Hamper Appeal project as a group. Overall, we have managed to put together 11 food hampers to support the social care families at Christmas this year.

Wrapping the parcels were a little challenging but they worked hard. They have personalised each box with a Christmas message. From New Bridge College. A really big thank you from Mrs Nelson to our kind and generous families we could not have completed this worthy without your support.

Pre Intern

It has been a full week of different activities for our pre-interns. Not only have they continued with work placements and assisted with preparing the buffet for our Christmas buffet. But today we had the pleasure of supporting our activ8te students by joining in with their Christmas sports morning.  

First, we started with Bocha and it turns out that Leah is quite the Bocha champion. We then moved onto an extremely competitive game of Bench ball. Next, we had a lively session in the gym and then we had the pleasure of getting well and truly beaten by Seeraj and Shannon in a Polly bat session.  

It was a fantastic morning Shannon said, “It was energetic and fun” Leah said, “I can’t believe I went on the rowing machine” and Kayden stated, “I never knew I could play Hockey!”  

But lastly the pre-intern would like to say a massive thank you and well done to our Activ8 students for facilitating, mentoring, and leading on the morning activities. Yoe where all outstanding!
