Easter Blog
I simply can believe its Easter!
New Bridge School today is full of eggs, easter chicks and of course Easter cake and bakes. We are – as usual – celebrating in style.
This term we have been so so busy – from open days to events such as Red Nose, World Book Day and the Readathon. Our blogs have shown the smiley faces of our children and young people – learning, experimenting, and having fun.
This week we welcomed ‘Dreams Come True‘ into school.
DCT is the organisation who funded our sensory garden.
They came to school to film some of our children in the garden and interviewed me about the impact the garden will make to all our children.
Watch this space for the footage.
Next week – we have holiday club and I am sure it will be a fabulous fun time for everyone involved.
So that’s it for me. We have been busy planning the summer term – which will be full of lots of exciting events – Disney, Haven, Pride, Prom and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. At the end of the Summer we will be saying “farewell“ to our present year 9’s and 11’s as they move onto their next destinations.
On behalf of myself and the Senior Team here at New Bridge – Happy Easter to all our children, families and carers.
Take care
Stay safe
